- 2- SpP&Z12/9/7;, <br /> <br />Mro Johnson hopes this would solve the problem. <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson brought a (:~rawing of the airport showing where the <br />school district would kike to place five portableclassrooms for <br />students ipresently being housed in the basement, of the. Lutheran <br />Church in Anoka due to lack of space. They are classes of aviation <br />technology, air traffi~ controls and aviation management program <br />which goes on 12 month~ a year. They would also be used 2 to ~ <br />nights a week. The school district plans on putting in acesspool <br />and well to support th~ buildings. Size of the buildings.is 2&x36 <br />and it costs about $1,()00 to move one of them. The building in- <br />spector should look at the buildings and describe thesewage sys- <br />tem. As soon as approved, they would, bring in one building, one <br />a week later and possibly one the end~of January and one the end <br />of February° Economy ~.s the reason-for using .these portable <br />classrooms. Mr. Bodle moved that the school district be permitted <br />to move in these 5 por~ab].e classrooms to the airport each 2~x36 <br />foot in size subject t~ approval of ~he sewer and. well:to be used <br />for aviation ground school for four of themand a joint.facility <br />by the airport and the school for the fifth. Seconded.by Mr. Fos- <br />sum, Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Bodte suggested to Mo'~o Johnson that the training pIames should <br />leave the airport swinging northeast and not northwest because of <br />the houses built to th~ northwest of the airport, <br /> <br />Anoka Interaational Re~oning: Mr. Bodle moved we recommend to <br />the Council that the p,~operty owned by Anoka-Internation~on High- <br />way l0 wes% be rezoned commercial from the northedgeof the pre- <br />sent commercial zone to the south edge of the Anoka-International <br />property~ Seconded by M~ Emmans. Motion carried.unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Pittmar~ moved that i,% is up to the BuildingInspector to in- <br />sist on drain tile aro~ud the footings of housesin areas where <br />he feels it is necessary and that the basements should be water- <br />proofed on the outside~ Seconded by Mr. G~mec. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Emmans moved we adjo~rn the meeting.
