pINTER'S AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICA TIO' .........---- TOWN OF RAMSEY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING There will be a public hearing on Carter's Valley Plat at the Ramsey Town Hall on September 3, 1974 at 7:00 p.m. Anyone interested in being heard regarding this plat be present. The legal description is as tallows: The Southeast quarter Of the Southeast quarter of Section 2, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. Together with all that part of the North half of the Northeast .Quarter of Section 11, said Township and Range lying East of the centerline of the public highway running from Anoka to St. Francis (Minnesota Trunk Highway No. 47), Together with Government Lot 1, Section 12, said Township and Range except that part thereof plaited as BROOK VIEW ESTATES, according to the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for said Anoka County Minnesota. Together with Lot 14, Auditor's Subdivision No. 27, according to the map orplat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for said Anoka County Minnesota, excepting from said Lot 14 that part ,thereof described as commencing at the Southwest comer of the South half of the Southeast quarter of said Section 2; thence East (assumed bearing) along the South line of said South half of the Southeast quarter at a distance of 272.50 feet to its intersection with the centerline of said State High- way No. 47 as now laid out and traveled; thence North 6 degrees 38 minutes 45 seconds East along said centerl ine a distance of 612.79 feet; thence deflect left in a Northwesterly direction along said centerline on a tangential curve having a radius of 238.73 feet and a central angle of 4 degrees 40 minutes 05 seconds a distance of 19.45 feet to the actual point of beginning of the land to be described; thence continue Northwesterly along said centerl ine on same described tangential curve having a radius of 238.73 feet and a central angle of 49 degrees 04 minutes 55 seconds a distance of 204.51 feet; thence North 47 degrees 06 minutes 15 seconds West along said centerline a distance of 111.23 feet; thence East on a line parallel with the South line of said South half of the Southeast' quarter a distance of 949.21 feet; thence South at right angles a distance of 258.87 feet; thence West on a line parallel with said South line a distance of 791.53 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to that part of the above described properties taken for said State Highway No. 47. Contains 144.04 acres, more or less, including highway right of way. (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once each week. (3) Said newspaper has 50% of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly dupli- cate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75% of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local post-office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of Anoka in the County of Anoka and it has its known office of issue in the City of Anoka in said county, established and open during its regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertise- ments and sale of subscriptions and maintained by Arch G. Pease or persons in his employ and subject to his direction and control during all such regular business hours and at which said newspaper is printed. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has com- plied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affi- davit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by Arch G. Pease and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
