Springer~ [,.~r~ Pittman, and Mrs. Guy. <br /> <br />Mr o [,'~.~ [to~ brought u~ ~,~.e copy of a letter he had written to the <br />property ~>wner~; within 300 feet of the land he wished to have re- <br />zoned .['~om agri.~:~!tu~ai[ to commercial and the receipts of certi- <br />ficatio~ on the .]ett~rs, The land he wants rezoned is Lots 6 and <br />7, Block Ji in Golden Eagles Estates Plat. He asked for an access <br />on Variolite St~,?eet. ~'.~r. Fulton will not be operating this gro- <br />cery stor~ himse'[f b~t said Mr. Kempe, who now is operating a <br />store o~ 7th Avenue ~].n. Grow Township, would be the operator of <br />this stor~:~, Mr.,, Rein,a'an asked him if he could come out on Vario- <br />lite St~,?e~t some dis~ance from the corner so as not to interfere <br />with traffic at 1;[~e ~tol~ sign at Variolite St. and Highway #63. <br />Lot 6 and 7 is a~ ar~a of about 600x210 feet, with the 600 feet <br />on Variolite Street. i'~r. Fulton said this would be all right. <br />Mr. Spr~i~n~;er moved t~alt we recommend rezoning this area from <br />agricul'i~ural to geneva'[ business for a commercial grocery store. <br />Seconded l~y' Mr~ Sort~becg~ Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr, ~.~d. K.'i. emish :r'cc~u~s'i;ed rezoning from agricultural to commer- <br />cial. on the corner o:I 167th Street at Highway #~7 for an area of <br />5 acres f~r a grocer) store. Mr. Sorteberg moved we recommend <br />that this five acres be rezoned from agricultural to commercial <br />for a K:,:'oaery store, i~econded by Mr~ Springer. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussio~.'~ on t]~e ne~d Cot contractors to clean up the premises <br />during an~i. after the buhlding on houses. Suggested that the con- <br />tracto~~ h~ve ~+8 hour~ to clean up the premises after the comple- <br />tion of a house~ At 'the time the permit is issued a $30.00 de- <br />posit wou~id be made lo cover this clean up in case the contractor <br />does not ~to it~ After the ~8 hours the deposit would be forfeited <br />and a .[':i.n,~ of Sj~O s ca.~ would be levied until it was cleaned up. <br /> <br />Mr. KiJ_emi~h said he %,,:ou I_d bring in his legal description and it <br />will be attached to ~ihe~e minutes. <br /> <br />Mr o Sortei~erg m~>ved the meeting be adjourned. <br />Anderson.
