Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-06-113 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A TEMPORARY ENGINEERING INTERN <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Interns to work in Administrative <br />Services, Community Development, Engineering, and Parks; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has found a significant benefit to employing interns; and <br />WHEREAS, staff selected the last Intern for the 2016 annual recruitment <br />process; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidate passed the pre -employment screening; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring the selected 2016 Engineering Intern listed <br />below. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to adopt resolution #16-06-113 Mr. Jimmy Baxter as a Temporary <br />Engineering Intern @ $12.00 per hour, effective on or near June 1, 2016. <br />The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 14t1 day of June, 2016. <br />
