Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-06-112 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2016-2020 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN (CIP) <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Charter states that the City of Ramsey will adopt a Capital <br />Improvement Plan (CIP) annually; and <br />WHEREAS, the CIP will consist of at least five years, and will estimate the future needs <br />for the public health, safety and welfare of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the CIP shall consist of projects and facilities (capital improvements) <br />proposed to be undertaken during the next five fiscal years, which is 2016-2020 with appropriate <br />supporting information as to the necessity of such improvements, cost estimates, and method of <br />financing; and <br />WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a forecasting tool and not actual, <br />committed projects and expenditures. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br />1) The City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the adoption of the 2016-2020 Capital <br />Improvement Plan (CIP) <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the l4th day of June 2016. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
