ASBESTOS MATERIAL SURVEY <br />CITY BUILDING <br />15240 HELIUM STREET NW <br />RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br />2.1 LIMITATIONS <br />EPA Inc. made reasonable attempts to access all areas of the building as presented <br />within the scope of this work. The following areas and/or materials were not able to be <br />accessed or due to safety concerns or other limitations. <br />• A limited number of penetrations were made in the exterior structure walls to identify <br />if insulation fill (i.e. vermiculite) was used. Fiberglass was identified. <br />• No roof samples were collected from the building. This roof had a rubber <br />membrane system with no evidence of an original roof system or other suspect <br />materials under the roof membrane. <br />3.0 BUILDING DESCRIPTION <br />The project consisted of a one-story commercial building with a full basement/garage <br />area. <br />• The interior walls are primarily metal framing with sheetrock application <br />• The exterior walls on the building are brick <br />• The floors consist mostly of carpet on concrete with linoleum in the bathroom <br />• The roof is a ballast rubber membrane system <br />4.0 SUSPECT BUILDING MATERIALS <br />Representative bulk samples of suspect ACM building materials were collected from the <br />duplex. The identified materials that were considered suspect and subsequently <br />sampled include: <br />• 2x4'Ceiling Tile • Sheetrockljt compound <br />• Flooring materials • Caulking <br />• Carpet Glue • Exterior damproofing <br />• Mopboardlglue • Roofing materials <br />Of the materials sampled, none were found to be asbestos containing: <br />No special actions are required. <br />Please refer to the following section for the analytical laboratory results, including <br />material locations, and quantities. <br />15240 Helium St NW, Ramsey, MN 2 ©2012 EPA, Inc <br />
