City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Patrick Brama <br />WSB Municipal Planner Eric Maass <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Strommen called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:03 p.m., <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br />None. <br />3. CITIZEN INPUT <br />John Enstrom, 8702 181 st Avenue NW, asked for permission for the 11 th Annual Flag Retirement <br />Ceremony that will be held on June 14. He noted that six new flagpoles have been donated from <br />different organizations and will be added to this year's event. He highlighted some of the new <br />activities that will be added to the event. He explained that flags from different posts and legions <br />throughout the upper Midwest will be retired at the event, estimating close to 40,000 flags that <br />will be retired. He welcomed members of the public to attend the event and witness the proper <br />way to retire the flags. He noted that the event would end with a potluck dinner and advised that <br />City Council / May 24, 2016 <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />
