7.09: Consider Adoption of Resolution #16-05-086 Approving Plans and Specifications <br />and Authorizing Bids for Improvement Project #16-00 Division A, Crackseal and <br />Sealcoat Improvements <br />City Engineer Westby reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt Resolution # 16- <br />05-086 approving plans and specifications and authorizing advertisement for bids for <br />Improvement Project #16-00 Division A, crackseal and sealcoat improvements; noting that the <br />Public Works Committee reviewed the proposed improvements at their May 17th regular meeting <br />and unanimously recommended that the City Council approve the action as well. <br />Motion by Councilmember Johns, seconded by Councilmember Shryock, to adopt Resolution <br />#16-05-086 Approving Plans and Specifications and Authorizing Advertisement for Bids for <br />Improvement Project #16-00 Division A Crackseal and Sealcoat Improvements. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Johns, Shryock, Kuzma, <br />Riley, and Williams. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember LeTourneau. <br />7.10: Consider Adoption of Resolution #16-05-087 Approving Plans and Specifications <br />and Authorizing Bids for Improvement Project #16-36, Business Park 95 Regional <br />Stormwater Pond Improvements <br />City Engineer Westby reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt Resolution #16- <br />05-087 approving plans and specifications and authorizing bids for Improvement Project #16-36, <br />Business Park 95 Regional Stormwater Pond Improvements, thereby allowing the proposed pond <br />improvements to be constructed in 2016 in accordance with the Lower Rum River Water <br />Management Organization (LRRWMO) permit for the Dedicated Networks expansion project, <br />which was approved contingent on the improvements being completed in 2016. He noted that <br />this action would avoid delays or denials of WMO permits for future business expansion projects <br />within the business park. <br />Councilmember Kuzma stated that he is pleased to see staff saving the City money. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Williams, to adopt Resolution <br />#16-05-087 Approving Plans and Specifications and Authorizing Advertisement for Bids for <br />Improvement Project #16-36 Business Park 95 Regional Stormwater Pond Improvements. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Kuzma, Williams, Johns, <br />Riley, and Shryock. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember LeTourneau. <br />8.
