Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT ($87-1 - Itasc~ Heights) WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted October 28, 1986, a report has been prepared by Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Rakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., with reference to the improvement of the following streets by tarvia surfacing: a) Collins. Drive N.W. located entirely in the plat of Itas(a Heights b) Beatty Avenue N.W. between T.H. Highway $10 and Colli~s Drive N.W. located in the plat of Itasc~ Heights WHEREAS, the r~.~port was received by the Ramsey City Council on January 27, 1987, which report indicates the follc~ing ~ Estimate] Total Cost of Project $46,575.00 Est]3nated Total Assessment per unit: (ind[vJ dual property oost:) $ 2,739.71 Est]a~ted %nnual Asses~nent per unit (10 year term) $ 426.85 NC~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANCEA OOUNTY~ STATE. OF MINNESOTA, as follows: J) The Ra~sey City Council will consider the improvement of such stre(:~ts in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pur.~;uant to the Ramsey City Charter at an estimated total cost of th~ improv~nent of $46,575.00. 2) A public bearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 27th day of February, 1987, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey M~micipal Center at 7:30 P.M. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as r~uired by law.
