5 Minute~ CASE ~29: <br /> <br />Dave Ba~t/ey, City Rclmtnt~t£ato= <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Ms. Jan Bye ~began employment w~th the City of Ramsey on July 15, 1986. Ms. Bye <br />has served the City of Ramsey as Accounting Clerk I since the date of her <br />~nplcsnnent. The labor agreement with ~ provides that all newly hired or <br />rehired employees shall serve a six month probationary period. During the <br />probationary period, such pro~.tionary employee may be terminated at the sole <br />discretion of the emplc~er. <br /> <br />Noel Graczyk, Finance Officer, and I reviewed the performance of Ms. Bye on <br />January 22, 1987 with her,. and found her performance during the probationary <br />period to be com[~tent and s~tisfactory in all phases of the probationary <br />period. It is our reccmmendat_i~on that the City Council retain Ms. Bye as a <br />"regular full-time employee" and declare Ms. Bye's six month probationary <br />period as satisfactorily com~pleted. <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Retain ~.
