Y OF RAMSE"f TO APPLY FOR PLANNING ASSISTANCE GRANT 1~ FROM THE MEg~ROPOLr~AN (~ 1) That the City of Ram~:~ will act as the sponsor during the period from January 31, 1987 through January 31, 1988. City ~ninistrator Pavid R. Martley is hereby authorized to st~it a grant proposal and request funding for this project to the Metropolitan Co~mcil and to execute such agreeing_nfs and prepare doc~nents as necessary to acce~ funds and implement the project on behalf of the City of R~nsey. This resolut]c~l certifies the_ ~!ollowJ3]g: 1) The City of Ramsey :its an eligible applicant for the Planning Assis~ce Grant 2) The project will furt~er the goals of the Metropolitan Council's Solid Waste Management Devel.op~_nt Guide/Policy Plan. 3) The project is Jn con~!omance with the approved Solid Waste Management Master Plan for the (o~lty in which the project will occur if the proposal is being mad~ b~f a City, County or solid waste management district.. 4) The City of Ra~mmy ag~:ees to comply with all applicable laws relating to nondiscrimir~ti~ ~d affirmative action. 5) The City of Ramsey wL1 provide all local and State permits, licenses and authorizatioms n~'es~ary for the project. 6) The City of Ramsey is oarrent in all tax obligations to local, State or Fe~]eral government;. 7) Acknowledgment wLll ~ made to the Council for its grant assistance on all promotional mater~.als, reports and publications relating to the proje(~ during the gr~nt period. 8) The City of Ramsey wi0.1 provide all documentation and reports, required by the Council during the grant period. 9) The proposal is ¢~mplete. and all information provided in the proposal is trtm and accurate.
