Proposed improvements include repairing failing <br />concrete joints and replacing colored concrete crosswalks with standard concrete and thermoplastic crosswalk markings. <br />All exposed voids will be filled with temporary concrete mix in 2016. <br />Justification <br />Numerous concrete pavement joints are failing resulting in crumbling pavement which allows stormwater runoff to seep into the pavement base, <br />accelerating pavement deterioration due to staurated subgrade soils.
