Here is a timeline of events as outlined by the City of Anoka. • February 16, 2016 = Anoka City Council receives first presentation on the River Walk Master Plan (existing location for Riverplace Counseling Center) • March 7, 2016 = Anoka City Council approves Letter of Intent to sell 6058 Highway 10 NW to Riverplace Counseling Center • April 5, 2016 = Anoka Planning Commission reviews Site Plan and Zoning Amendment • April 18, 2016 = Anoka City Council reviews Site Plan and Zoning Amendment (first of two [2] readings) • April 21, 2016 = Ramsey hosts workshop/open house for interested Ramsey Residents • May 2, 2016 = Anoka City Council will consider final approval of the project Funding Source: This case is being handled as part of normal Staff duties. Recommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council forward the site plan concerns and public comment to the City of Anoka. Staff recommends that the City Council not provide a recommendation on the use itself, as the City of Anoka has jurisdiction over this Land Use Application. Finally, Staff does recommend that the City Council forward the comments to the DNR as well as it relates to the compliance with the Critical Area Overlay District. Action: Motion to forward the attached response to City of Anoka regarding the site plan for Riverplace Counseling.
