City Administrator Nemean explained the developer would like the City to take the official <br />policy that they wr)uld ncw~'r close Armstrong Boulevard. He argued the City does not have that <br />choice, l~y l~,vin?~ a policy with t~rio~'ities they have something official that says the City will <br />work on this i,terchange. A lradc pattern will be established by the time anything occurs. The <br />developer can live with this policy. <br /> <br />Motion by ('.ouuc'ilmcmbcr Cook .'-;cconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt both the <br />marketing statcmc~t of Town (~'ent~:r development west of Armstrong Boulevard and the Official <br />Transportalio~] Policy language as City Policy, with the change to the marketing statement to <br />include "large retail" between "discour~tge" and "grocery". <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: M~yor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Pearson, Elvig, Kurak, <br />Strommcn, a~d Zimmermau.
