Thc Building Code is not en ibrced statewide, but the Fire Code is. The State reviews the <br />codes and amends them to fit the eli mate and safety provisions of the State making new "State of <br />Minnesota Building and Fire Codc:." Portions of the Building Code are not adopted in its <br />entirety, but arc lcll lbr cities to ~dopt by ordinance if they wish to provide greater safety <br />prcczmtions within its boundaries.
