REVIEW PLANS FOR RAMSEY TOWN CENTER PARKS <br /> By: L~onard Linton, Civil Engineer <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Ramscy Town Center, LLC has !¢roposed providing the parks and park dedication fees up <br />fi-ont lbr the Ramsey Town Centor development. They have provided sketches and <br />proposals for evaluation as the p i.an. has evolved. Park and Recreation Commission and <br />City Council ha~e reviewed and accepted portions of the proposal previously. The plans <br />are before the c~mmission for re~/i, ew and evaluation are for East Park and South Park. <br /> <br />Observatio~s: <br /> <br />The park plans were received at City Hall today. Staff briefly looked at the information <br />as the packets were assembled, iitTCLLC is proposing a 100 person pavilion in South <br />Park and a second pavilion in Wes~t Park. Space for an amphitheater is reserved in East <br />Park but constn~ction is not incl~ded in RTC proposal.. <br /> <br />The City is applying for a liveablie communities grant, a portion of the proceeds of this <br />grant would be used to construct the amphitheater. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The timing of thc: submit ~al did not provide adequate time for staff review of the plans. <br />Staffwill review the plans m~d p~epare a recommendation before the meeting.
