Enclosed is a cx~py of the minutes ~rom the February 5, 1987 meeting of the Road and Bridge Conmiittee addressing [:hose items. P~commendation~ a) Public Works Pi operty~ It was the consens~s of tl~e ComaJ.ttee to pursue the purchase of the Raudio site. At the Febrnary 17~ i[987 ~_~eting of the Road and Bridge Committee the Committee recor~mended hiring an a].~raiser to appraise the value of the existing public works site~ This at~prai~aJ~ could be used in negotiations for trading the existing site for the ne~ sJte~ Council Action: Motion to: Authorize the (~lity A~ainist~ator to obtain price quotes for an appraisal of the existing p~lic works s]:i2e, b) One-Ton Truck: The Road and Bridge-_~ Committee r~c(~;~ends that the City advertise for bids on a one-ton truck w~ith ~pecificatior,s )~repared by the Public Works Superintendent. Council Action~ Motion to: Authorize ~J~e {~ity Ac~ninist~at.(~r to advertise for bids on a one-ton truck as specified b~.~ the I~o.]~ic ~iorks Superintendent. c) Light Equil~o. en~ ~. rator~ The Road and Bridg~ Committee reco.mmends that the Ctiy advertise for a Light Equipment Operator with tJ~e sal~ to be set by the Personnel Committee. Council Action.~ Motion to: Authorize the City Ad~nini~t~ator to advertise for a Light Equipment Operator.
