Councilmembe~ <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />inl.roduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />%87- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (~f-7.--3 Site Improvements for River's Bend <br />Plaza) <br /> <br /> WHERe:AS, pursuar~t ho a resolution passed by the Ramsey <br />City Council on June 30, .].986, the City Engineer Mr. Peter R. <br />Raat~kka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans <br />and speci£ical~ions for site improvements for River's Bend Plaza <br />and has presented such pkans and specifications to the Council <br />for approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESO],VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T}iE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, AN~{A C~IINTY, ~'~A_ff%.: ¢¢ MiNNESCrfA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) S'~'~ch plans a)~d specifications, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Adm..nJstrator shall prepare and cause to <br />be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction <br />Bulletin an advertisem~nt for bids upon the making of such <br />improvement under such ap~oved plans and specifications. The <br />advertisement shall be put~lJshed for fifteen days, shall specify <br />the work to be done~ shall state that bids will be received by <br />the City AdmJ. nistrg~tor until 11:15 A.M. on March 23, 1987, at <br />which time they will be ]>ublicly opened in the Council Chambers <br />of the Ramsey Municipal Ce d~er by the City Administrator and City <br />Engineer, wi]..I, then be t~bu].ated, and will be considered by the <br />Ramsey City Council at '7:3~ ].'~M~ on March 24, 1987 in the Council <br />Chambers. Any bidder who~e responsiblity is questioned during <br />consideration of the bid ~,j]]. be given an opportunity to address <br />the Counci.] on the issue of responsibility.
