PERTAINS TO CASE #21 <br /> <br />intr,~uoed the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is responsible, for <br />driver destination signs indi~mting mileage to Minnesota c~ties; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires cities <br />wishing to be included (m driver destination signs to formally request such <br />inclusion; and <br /> <br /> W~ZREAS, the Minnesota I~partment of Transportation requires communities <br />to determine a central point to be used for measuring distances for such driver <br />destination signs; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the City of ~amsey wishes to be included on such driver <br />destination signs in adjacent co~ties. <br /> <br />NUt; THEREFORE, BE IT RESfL~ BY THE CITY ~ CP THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />~, STATE (~ MINNESU]5~ ~ follows: <br /> <br />~hat the City of Ram. my respectfully requests the Minne~ Department <br />of Transportation to include Ramsey on driver destination signs in <br />adjacent c~ties. <br /> <br />Taat the center of ~msey, for the purposes of measuring distance to <br />Ramsey for driver destination signs, be the intersection of County <br />14oad ~ emd U.$o Higl~e~' lO~ <br /> <br />3.
