PERTAINS TO CASE Counc~lm~m~er il~troduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: NG~ Tm~Rf~ORE~J BE IT RES(~%~D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I~9~EY, ANfKA (IDT~I~ ~ OF MINN~ as foll(~s: 1. ~at the Ramsey Cf..ty Council shall meet on Tuesday, May 12, 1987, at approximately 7:30 p.m., to hold a public hearing on the following matters= (a) the proposed establishment of the City's Develo.~nent Distri{~ No. 2; (b) the proposed adoption of the Development Program relating thereto; (c) the proposed estahl~t of Tax Increment Financing District No. 3 therein; and (d) the proposed adoption of a Tax Incr~nent Financing Plan relating thereto, all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 472A, as amended and ~ Stat~s, Sec~ions 273.71 t-o 273.78, inclusive as amended. 2. That LeFevere, I~fler, Kennedy, O'Brien & Drawz, as special counsel is hereby ~ut~orized and directed to prepare said develol~ent program and ta~ increment financing plan. 3. ~at the City stair ~$ hereby authorized and directed to take all actions neoessary to lxepare and present said program and plan to the City Council as expeditiously as is reasonably possible. 4. That the Clerk-;~im]~istrator is hereby authorized and directed to su~mit said },rogram and plan to the appropriate school board and to the Anoka County Board for ~nt. 5. That the Clerk-Ad~inistrator is authorized and directed to prepare a ~otioe for publication in the official newspaper of the public hearing and that such notice shall be published at least onece is said newsfaper at least ten but not more than thirty days l~ior to such public hearing.
