Will the request in=ease the tax base of the City? <br /> <br />Section 4, Once Staff and the Cormissions have reviewed the <br />request, their ~_nts and recomrendations are forwarded to the <br />City Council fo= their consideration. In addition to these <br />o~m~.nts, the Gouncil will consider the following matters: <br /> <br />A. Will the request benefit the City as a whole? <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />Will the request encourage other private develourent <br />of the area? <br /> <br />Does the Gouncil feel that this request will not occur <br />without municip~.l financial assistance? <br /> <br />Section 5. If the Council approves a request for financial <br /> <br />assistance, all approvals will be contingent upon the develo~p?r <br />entering into a development agreement with the City. This <br /> <br />agreement shall be drafted by the City's bond counsel and will <br />specify, but is not limited to, the following: <br /> <br />A. '/he City's financial o0mmitwent; <br /> <br />B. Gor~lftions of the City's participation; <br /> <br />C. Iz%sura~ce; <br /> <br />D. Oonditions of the developer's participation; <br /> <br />E. E~ents of default; <br /> <br />F. Terrs for transfer or assignment of agre~rent; <br /> <br />G. I~ication; and <br /> <br />H. Termination of agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
