~ Hinutes C~SE f20: <br /> <br />CITY HAL1, !i~UILDING REPAIRS/MAIlqTE~qANCE <br />By: Dave Hartley, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At its last meeting, the City (:ouncil instructed me to review the City Mall <br />repair needs with Mr. Adriaem Chicoine. After such a review, Mr. Chicoine <br />suggested that the City Counci~ may wish to contract directly with him for most <br />building maintenance needs, anc~ ~hat if Mr. Chicoine could not meet the needs <br />of the City of Ramsey and City Hall, he would in turn subcontract with his <br />business associates for such specialty work as painting, plastering, carpentry, <br />etc. As an alternative, Mr. Cl~icoine suggested that bids m~ght be received for <br />each of the needs, including bt~ilding maintenance management. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information ~s a list of City Mall repair needs. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council action will be to disct~s~ and give Staff direction. <br /> <br />Review Checkliut: <br /> <br />Administrator _~ <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
