Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #87-... RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS ~D SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISE- MENT FOR BIDS (:~87-19 Indu:~tiral Area Sewer and Water) WHEREAS, pursuan'~: ~::o a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on April 14, 1987, the City Engineer Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associate, s, Inc. has prepared plans and specifica- tions for the Improvement ~roject 87-19 Industrial Sewer and Water and has presented, s~ch plans a:~d specifications to the Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE, ~E IT RESO~/ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STAT]: OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Such plans a]~.d specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and ma~.e a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2) Tt~e City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official p~per and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upo~ the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for fifteen days,, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 11:00 A.M. on June 5, 1987, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Administrator and. City Engiaeer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on June 9, 1987 in the Council Chambers° Any Oidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by a cash depostt~ cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City o~ Ramsey for five (5) per cent of the amount of such b~do The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote~! ~.n favor thereof: and the following voted agai_nst the same: and the followin~ abstained.
