Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~87- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS <br />TO 149TH AVENUE N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to a request by the City Engineer for the <br />improvement of 149th Avenue the following price quotes were received: <br /> <br />Bidder Amount <br /> <br />Ideal Paving, Inc. <br />H&S Asphalt Co. <br /> <br />$3,975.00 <br />$4,400.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Ideal Paving, Inc. of Brooklyn Park, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, .as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Ideal Paving, <br />Inc. of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota in the name of the City of Ramsey for <br />the improvement of 149th Avenue N.W. between Peridot Street N.W. and <br />Uranimite Street N.W. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey city Council this the 26th day of May, 1987. <br /> <br /> <br />
