5 Minutes CASE ~10: <br /> <br />By: <br /> <br />ADOPT ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 170.01 <br /> OF THE CITY CODE (ZONING CHAPTER) <br />Anne Norris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As discussed by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council, the <br />City Attorney has drafted amendments to the Zoning Chapter regarding: <br /> <br />a) Eliminating fencing requirements for drainage ponds; <br />b) Requiring blacktop or concrete surfacing for all off-street parking; <br /> and <br />c) Requiring certified site plans for all commercial and industrial <br /> proposals. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information is the proposed ordinance with these amendments <br />to Chapter 170.01. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on these amendments on <br />April 7, 1987 and recommended adoption of the amendments.
