Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #87-' RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAY FOR IDEAL PAVING, INC. (Project 149th Avenue West of County Road #56) WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey Street Department and City Engineer requested price quotes for improvement of a portion of 149th Avenue West of County Road #56 as part of the general maintenance program for the streets; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #87-127 awarding the bid to Ideal Paving, Inc. for the portion of 149th Avenue West of County Road #56; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc. recommends final payment to Ideal Paving, Inc. in the amount of $3,975.00 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Ideal Paving, Inc. for the portion of 149th Avenue West of County Road #56 in the amount of $3,975.00. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #87-2_2_ approving payment of the bills for the month of June, 1987. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of June, 1987.
