ORDINANCE NO. 87-__ CITY 0F RAMSEY ANOKA COUNI"f, STATE OF MIN~ESOTA AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 10.08 OF THE RAMSE¥ CITY CODE, WHICH IS ENTITLED "SALARIES". AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 10.081 AND 10.082 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 10.081 Mayor is amended to read as follows: 10.081 Mayor The salary of Mayor of the City of Ramsey shall be $ ($ per year) commencing January 1, 1989. per month The Mayor of the City of Ramsey shall be entitled to a monthly sum of money to be applied toward the cost of health and/or major medical insurance provided by the City of Ramsey group health insurance plans available to other employees.within the City of Ramsey. The sum provided by the City of Ramsey will be the same amount which the City of Ramsey provides to its administrative staff. The unused monthly health and major medical benefits shall be paid to the Mayor of the City of Ramsey annually, net of all taxes. Section 10.082 City Council is amended to read as follows: 10.082 City Council The salary of each of the Councilmembers of the City of Ramsey shall be $ per month ($ per year) commencing January 1, 1989. The Councilmembers of the City of Ramsey shall be entitled to a monthly sum of money to be applied toward the cost of health and/or major medical insurance provided by the City of Ramsey group health insurance plans available to other employees within the City of Ramsey. The sum provided by the city of Ramsey will be the same amount which the City of Ramsey provides to its administrative staff. The unused monthly health and major medical benefits shall be paid to the Councilmembers of the City of Ramsey annually, net of all taxes. SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and publication according to law.
