Speed & Safety Study <br />city of Ramsey <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Katz: <br /> <br />On May 8, 1987, I sent you a letter requesting a safety study and <br />investigation of the intersection of 167th Avenue N.W. To date, I <br />have not received any reply. In addition to the safety study of <br />the intersection, the city Council requests that a safety study <br />including a speed study be conducted on 167th Avenue N.W. between <br />C.S.A.H. No. 5 and State Highway #47. A copy of Ramsey's <br />Resolution #87-84 and minutes from a city Council meeting- <br />requesting the studies are enclosed. <br /> <br />It is my understanding that any change in speed on a City street <br />cannot be made without an order from the Commissioner of Highways. <br />Also, the first step in obtaining a Conunissioners order is to have <br />a speed study conducted by the District Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br />Please proceed with both the speed and safety studies as soon as <br />possible.
