5 Minutes CASE #21: <br /> <br />RECEIVE PETITION FOR SEWER AND WATER <br />IMPROVEMENTS IN OAKRIDGE INDUSTRIAL PARK <br /> By: Dave Hartley~ City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey has received a petition for the extension of sanitary sewer <br />and water improvements to the 0akridge Industrial Park located on Sunfish Lake <br />Boulevard NW between Industry Avenue NW and Highway f/10 NW. This petition is <br />signed by 100% of the owners of the aforementioned subdivision. The proper <br />action by the City Council will be to adopt a resolution acknowledging the <br />petition for sewer and water improvements and ordering the preparation of a <br />report on the improvement. After receiving the report on a proposed <br />improvement, the Council may hold a public hearing on the improvement and at <br />that time, if all property owners are still in favor of the proposed <br />improvement, the Council may waive the 60 day waiting period and proceed with <br />the improvement as a change order on the current contract for extending sewer <br />and water to the Industrial Area of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Enclosed is the petition and the proposed resolution for your information. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution #87-__ declaring adequacy of petition and ordering <br />preparation of report for Oakridge Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />X <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
