Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION 087- RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAY FOR TRONSON EXCAVATING (River's Bend Park Excavating and Fine Grading) WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Ramsey dire6~ed the City Engineer to prepare plans and specs for grading and gravel of access road and parking area for River's Bend Park; directing City Staff to seek price quotes for the grading and application of gravel and award the contract to the lowest bidder; and that the expenditure shall be derived from the 1986 Park Fund; and WHEREAS, Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommends final payment to Tronson Excavating in the amount of $1,350.00 for excavating and fine grading. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Tronson Excavating for the excavating and fine grading of access road and parking area for River's Bend Park in the amount of $1,350.00. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or city Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this final payment is not included in Resolution #87- approving payment of the bills for the month of July, 1987. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey city Council this the 28th day of July, 1987.
