Councilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION ~87- RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION A~D ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) A certain petition requesting the extension of sanitary sewer and water service from the northern edge of the River's Bend subdivision to Outlot B of Rum Acres Estates, filed with the City Council on August 19, 1987, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of voters of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity with the Charter of Ramsey, Minnesota and other relevant State Statutes. 2) The petition is hereby referred to City Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. and he is instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed an~ adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 19th day of August, 1987.
