Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to authorize the work <br />order with WSB & Associates not to exceed $86,661, subject to final review and amendments by <br />the City Attorney. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Riley, Johns, Kuzma, <br />LeTourneau, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br />7.05: Consider Adopting Resolution #16-06-108 Accepting the Mississippi River Shoreline <br />Inventory Completed by the Anoka Conservation District (Project #16-19) <br />City Planner Anderson reviewed the staff report and recommendation of staff and the <br />Environmental Policy Board to accept the Mississippi River Bank Condition Inventory prepared <br />by the Anoka Conservation District. <br />Councilmember Kuzma stated that this really is a problem for the property owners, especially <br />when the river comes to a bend and the water degrades the land. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Shryock, to Adopt Resolution <br />#16-06-108 Accepting the Mississippi River Shoreline Inventory Completed by the Anoka <br />Conservation District. <br />Further discussion: Mayor Strommen thanked City Planner Anderson and the Anoka <br />Conservation District as this is a huge amount of work. She asked if Anoka County Parks would <br />be included as a landowner. City Planner Anderson noted that Anoka County Parks has their <br />own copy of the report and plan to develop the plans for their property. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Kuzma, Shryock, Johns, <br />LeTourneau, Riley, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. <br />Mayor Strommen advised that the League of Minnesota Cities conference began today and will <br />run through Friday, noting that she, Councilmember Shryock and City Administrator Ulrich will <br />attend different portions of the conference. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Williams, seconded by Councilmember Shryock, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 8:13 p.m. <br />City Council / June 14, 2016 <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />
