CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 06/28/2016 <br />By: Jo Thieling, Administrative Services <br />4. 6. <br />Information <br />Title <br />Approve Request to Declare Surplus Property <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: Staff is requesting Council declare the following property surplus and authorize sale of same: <br />. Pick-up bed slide -out <br />Background: The Fire Department is asking that a pick-up bed slide -out bed attachment be declared surplus <br />inventory as it is no longer needed or is practical for the vehicle. The slide -out was purchased in 2002 and installed <br />in the then Fire Inspector vehicle. The vehicle is currently used as a Duty Officer/Utility vehicle and the box is <br />better utilized without the slide -out installed. The slide -out has been offered to Building Maintenance and Public <br />Works, but neither department has use for it. The estimated value is less than $500. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends Council declare the above named item as surplus and authorize sale/auction of same. <br />Action: <br />Motion to declare the following items as surplus and authorize sale/auction of same: <br />.
