Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION #16-06-125
<br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTION
<br />ON AUGUST 9, 2016
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will be conducting a Primary Election on Tuesday,
<br />August 9, 2016; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 204B.21, election judges for
<br />precincts in a municipality must be appointed by the governing body of that municipality; and
<br />WHEREAS, the hourly rate of pay will be $9.00 for election judge trainees, $10.00 for
<br />regular election judges and $11.00 for chairs.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
<br />1) That the following individuals be appointed to serve as election judges for the Primary
<br />Election to be held on August 9, 2016:
<br />Patricia McGrath, Charlotte Culbertson, Gerri Wicht, Jan Cameron, Colleen Graber,
<br />Lonny Suckow, Bernard Wiklund, Deb Koepsell, Jean Lewandowski, Donella Petro, Del

<br />2) That Council authorize staff to train and hire additional election judges not named here
<br />should the need arise.
<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
<br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
