NORTHERN <br />LIGHT <br />CHURCH <br />LET YOUR LIFE SHINE, <br />18 April 2016 <br />To the Ramsey City Council, <br />The purpose of this letter is to request a reduction in rent payments for the space at 601 Hwy <br />10 currently under lease by Northern Light Church. Northern Light has been privileged to lease <br />our meeting space from the City of Ramsey for more than four years. During that time, we've <br />worked hard to enrich the lives of those in our neighborhood and broader community. <br />Currently, Northern Light Church is facing some financial hardship, and so we turn to the City <br />Council to assist us in accomplishing this goal. <br />Our current monthly payment amount is $2,711.00. Our request from the City Council is to <br />temporarily reduce our current rent by 50% for 5 months, resulting in a monthly payment of <br />$1,355.50 until October 2016. As of October 1, we would step up our payment to 75% of the <br />total lease amount for the next 5 months (our lease payment is scheduled to increase in <br />November, so the following months' payments at 75% would be $2,033.25 in October and <br />$2,094.25 until march 2017). <br />Thank you for considering this proposal.
