Alternative 1: Begin the process of evaluating the alternative approach as outlined above. <br />Alternative 2: Simply adopt a resolution of support for this alternative at this time without further engagement. <br />Alternative 3: Do not consider the backage road concept further. There are certainly challenges to overcome with <br />this approach. Ultimately, consider a revision to this backage road concept will require the engagement of a traffic <br />engineer/civil engineer due to the current and changing tight, physical conditions of the site(s). <br />Funding Source: <br />This case is being handled as part of normal Staff duties. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends the City Council direct Staff to host a public meeting to review the potential to add the Tungsten <br />Area Backage Road as an acceptable alternative. Staff would then bring the results of that meeting as well as a <br />potential resolution of support following this step.
