6. PUBLIC HEARING <br />6.01: Public Hearing to Consider Adopting Resolution #16-06-112 Adopting the City of <br />Ramsey's 2016-2020 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) <br />Presentation <br />Finance Director Lund reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt the 2016-202 <br />Capital Improvement Plan, noting that this is a forecasting tool and not actual committed projects <br />and expenditures. <br />Public Hearing <br />Mayor Strommen called the public hearing to order at 7:20 p.m. <br />Citizen Input <br />There was none. <br />Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to close the <br />public hearing. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers LeTourneau, Kuzma, Johns, <br />Riley, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:20 p.m. <br />Council Business <br />Mayor Strommen noted that the Council had many discussions on the CIP as proposed and <br />commended staff for their efforts as the document will be much easier to read and understand. <br />Councilmember Kuzma stated that the CIP will be opened to a ten-year plan which he believes <br />will help the general public to understand the planning and priorities. <br />Motion by Councilmember Johns, seconded by Councilmember Shryock, to adopt Resolution <br />#16-06-112 Adopting the 2016-202 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). <br />Motion carried.
