REQUEST FOR RAMSEY RIDGE PRELIMINARY'PLAT APPROVAL: <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka noted the changes from'the original sketch plan outlined <br />in his report. <br /> <br />Harold Hunt, an adjoining property owner, questioned a road extension ease- <br />ment to be put in for future development of'land. <br /> <br />Mr. Roger Meyer was also in attendance requesting an extension of a road. <br /> <br />The consensus of the P & Z Commission is to recommend to the City Council <br />the approval of the preliminary plat with the following changes. <br /> <br /> 1) That a road easement be provided to connect the properties on the <br /> east side of Ramsey Ridge to Sapphire Street. This road should <br /> be located between lots # 3 and #4 of Block 3, Ramsey Ridge Plat. <br /> 2) That Sapphire Street extend to 171st Ave to line with the existing <br /> 171 Av coming out on Variolite Street. <br /> 3)That lot i of block I be changed to include part of lot 2 to allow <br /> a more buildable lot. <br />If conditions i & 2 are not complied with, the matter should return to P&Z. <br />The Engineer commented on the drainage ditches and City Administrator Schnelle <br />suggested that easements be acquired for the ditches. <br /> <br />Motion by Ben Deemer, seconded by Ron West to recommend to the City Council <br />the approval of Ramsey Ridge Preliminary Plat with the above corrections and <br />the Engineer's recommendations. <br /> <br />Motion carried. 6-0. <br /> <br />VERNDALE PROPERTIES'SKETCH'PLAN: <br /> <br />Ron West presented two plans to s~bdivlde into two lots and one outlot. <br /> <br />The P&Z Commission favors Plan B and Mr. West should call for a public <br />hearing for Preliminary Plat approval in January. <br /> <br />JACK MENKVELD SKETCH PLAN; AGREEMENT TO PLAT PROPERTY AT ARMSTRONG BLVD <br /> <br />AND HIGHWAY 10 and 169 <br /> <br />Jack Menkveld presented the sketch plan to the P&Z Commission. <br /> <br />The consensus of the commission is to recommend to the Council the approval <br />of the sketch plan contingent on all items on the engineer~ report. <br /> <br />Motion by Ben Deemer, seconded by Kathy Schneider to adjourn the Planning <br />and Zoning Meeting. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:10 P.M. <br /> <br />Respectfu]_ly submitted, <br />Arlene Stafford <br /> <br />P & Z Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />12/2/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
