Mayor Gamec said the people down in that area are not going to have the
rural living any more. The trunk charge is approximately $9,000 per
acre. It can't be done like the streets as "per lot".

Ron West said he has found out that people want to move out to Ra~nsey
and have the sewer and blacktop streets, not the rural type atmosphere.

Mayor Gamec said this will add to the city, but it will raise the
taxes for the whole city. He suggested talking to the people
down in that area and getting their opinions.

Ms. Kathy Schneider said she thought the people in Ramsey deserve some
prior knowledge so if they wanted to get out, they could before it
happens.

Mayor Gamec said when he met with the people on Highway 10, only one
person objected.

Mayor Gamec asked if they really wanted to do it to the people.

Ron West said there has been landowners who have been just waiting
for the sewer to come in.

Kathy Schneider said she couldn't imagine that the people down there
would be very excited about the $12,000 assessment.

Art Dunn said he thought it would kick people out down there.

Mayor Gamec said the City is looking at getting an Assistant City
Administrator and another man in the Public Works Department.

Mayor Gamec said the City's costs increase $200,000 in two years for
energy.

Motion by Ben Deemer and seconded by Ron West to adjourn the Planning
and Zoning Special Meeting.

Motion carried.
