JACK MENKVELD REGARDING PLATTING: <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Menkveld appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission to <br />discuss preliminary sketch plan containing 21 acres including proposed <br />roadway located west of Armstrong Blvd. to north of railroad tracks. Mr. <br />Benjamin Deemer asked if he would consider rezoning to Business? Mr. Jack <br />Menkveld stated probably not. Mr. Benjamin Deemer indicated to the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission that he does not like to see B-1 type activities in <br />industrial zoning. Mr. Art Dttnn asked if we should be considering frontage <br />road along Armstrong Blvd.? Jack Menkveld stated in the past Council <br />opposed. Planning and Zoning recommended setbacks along Armstrong Blvd. for <br />future construction of them. <br /> <br />It was also recommended to the Ramsey Cottncil that new construction of <br />residential dwellings not be allowed in industrial zoned areas. <br /> <br />FEASIBILITY OF THE PRESENT B-1 ZONING ON HIGHWAY #10 FROM RAMSEY BLVD. TO <br /> <br />SUNFIStI LAKE BLVD.: <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning requested staff prepare a feasibility study on this case <br />for 'their review and action at their December 2, 1980 regular meeting. <br /> <br />PLANNING AND ZONINGS RESPONSE TO CITY INVOLVemENT REGARDING COmmERCIAL AND <br /> <br />INDUSTRIAL ADVERTISING: <br /> <br />The Consensus of the Planning and Zoning Commission was that the City of <br />Ramsey should not be involving City funds in the cost of this project. <br /> <br />Motion by Art Dttnn and seconded by Harry Ellis to adjourn the Planning and <br />Zoning meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Chairman Peterson, Art Durn% Benjamin Deemer, <br />Harry Ellis and Katherine Schneider.
