Ralph Elofson, 6545 Highway #10 N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Elofson was present in regards to the land he owns on Highway #10 directly <br />across from Greenbergs which he is interested in leasing to a pamty who is <br />interested in putting up a supermarket there. <br /> <br />The commission encouraged Mr. Elofson to begin looking into the necessary <br />requirements for platting the land because of the time involved in doing so. <br /> <br />NOTE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />No comment. <br /> <br />LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />No comment. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson reminded everyone of the City Picnic on 8/16/80 for City Staff, <br />Appointees and their spouses. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Ramsey Ridge Sketch Plan <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka commented on the Ramsey Ridge Sketch Plan, which was <br />presented for approval. <br /> <br /> a) The 22 single-family lots which lie in the rumal service area all <br /> conform to city code. <br /> <br /> b) The lots which lie Northwesterly of Anoka County Road No. 63 may have <br /> a restricted access to the road. This must be checked out with the <br /> County as well as the City. <br /> <br /> c) The soils within the plat consist of marsh, muck and fine sand. <br /> It is heavily wooded with pine trees and could be a fire hazard. <br /> <br /> d) If no bonding is required, it must have a minimum of 10 percent park <br /> dedication. <br /> <br /> e) There were no contours shown on the sketch plan. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson said the Park Board has not reviewed the referenced sketch <br />plan yet, but they will do so next week. <br /> <br />Mr. Charles Peterson and Mr. Bob Rohlin were present regarding Ramsey Ridge. <br />The property is owned by Mr. Peterson. <br /> <br />Ron West suggested moving Sapphire Street to the left because the bend there <br />is so sharp. <br /> <br />Kathy Schneider noted that two immediate adjacent developments have parks. <br /> <br />Ben Deemer said his feeling is to get the money instead of park land. <br /> <br />P & Z Regular Meeting Page 2 8/4/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
