Chairman Peterson asked Mr. Janson what items would be displayed to those <br />driving by. <br /> <br />Mm. Janson said trucks, trailers and roto tillers would be stored & displayed <br />outside the building. <br /> <br />Art Dunn asked Mr. Janson if he planned on landscaping of any kind. <br /> <br />Mr. Janson said he planned on maintaining and keeping up what is already <br />in there. <br /> <br />Ben Deemer asked Mr. Janson about night lighting. <br /> <br />Mr. Janson said he had mercury vapor lamps. He explained that there are <br />a number of lights on the back and front areas of the property, which come <br />on at dusk and go off at dawn. <br /> <br />Ben Deemer asked Mr. Janson how many employees he would have. <br /> <br />Mr. Janson said to start with, there would be just him and his wife and <br />later on maybe another person depending on the way business goes. <br /> <br />Gerald Zimmerman asked Building Official Berg if Mr. Janson had enough <br />parking spaces there. <br /> <br />Building Official Berg said there is more than enough parking spaces as <br />all they need is six or seven. <br /> <br />Ben Deemer said he would like to see the trailers in front moved farther back. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson suggested limiting the number of trailers that could be <br />stored outside. <br /> <br />Ben Deemer suggested limiting the number of items to be outside after <br />business hours. He asked Mr. Janson if he intended to pave the driveway. <br /> <br />Mr. Janson said paving the driveway was not a consideration at this point. <br /> <br />Ben Deemer asked Mr. Janson if he had any utilities in the building. <br /> <br />Mr. Janson said there is a restroom inside the building. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson suggested the commission come up with some conditions <br />under which Mr. Janson would be allowed to do business. <br /> <br />Art Dunn said he would like the ingress and egress to be made one way. <br />He said he would like to see plantings and landscaping by Highway #10. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson suggested that six pieces of equipment be allowed outside <br />overnight. He told Mr. Janson to put up a sign indicating "exit" and <br />"entrance".
