Cr~urlc i lhlehlber rm:.ved fc, r its adopt ic, n: introduced the followirlg resolution and RESOLUTION #87- RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT (#87~/South Half Hagen's Unplatted WHEREAS, pursuar~t tc, pre, per notice duly given as required by law, the Ranlsey City Council has ~l~et and heard and passed upon all c,b~ectior~s to the proposed assessn~ent for the followir~g street sealcoatir~g in~prnve~ent: a) Driscoll Street N.W. between 176th Avenue N.W. arid 169th Lane N.W. b) 169th Lane N.W. between Baugh Street N.W. west to its end at the cul-de-sac c) 173rd Avenue N.W. west to its end between Baugh Street N.W. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That such proposed assessn~ent, a copy of which is attached hereto arid n~ade a part herec, f, is hereby accepted arid shall cor~stitute the special assessn~er~t against the lands nar~ed thereir~, and each tract of lar~d therein included in hereby four~d to be benefited by the prnposed inlproven~ent irl the an~ount of the assesssn~ent levied against it. 2) That such assessr~er~t shall be payable in equal ar~nual installn~ents extendir~g c, ver a period of three years, the first of the ir~stalln~ents tc, be payable on or before the first Monday in Jar~uary, 1988 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.60 per cent ar~r~un~ fron~ the date of the adoption of this assessnlent resolution. To the first installn~ent shall be added ir~terest or~ the ent ire assessn~ent fron~ the date of th is reso 1 ut i c,n unt i 1 Decer~ber 31, 1988. To each subsequent install~er~t when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installn~er~ts. 3) That the owner nf any property sc, assessed n~ay, at any ti~e prior tn certification of the assessn~ent to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessn~ent on such property, with interest accrued to the date of pay~ent, to the City Finar~ce Departn~ent, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessn~er~t is paid within ~0 days fron~ the adoption of this resolution; and he n~ay, at ar~y tirade thereafter, pay to the City Finance Departn~ent the entire an~ount of the assessr~ent ren~ainir~g unpaid, with ir~terest accrued to Decen~ber 31 of the year in which such payn~ent is n~ade.
