Councilmember __ for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION 987- RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR S.J.LOUIS CONSTRUCTION (PROJECT #87-19 EXTENSION OF SEWER AND WATER TO INDUSTRIAL AREA) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved thzs project on April 14, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution ~87-136 awarding the bid to S.J.Louis Construction for the extension of sewer and water to the Industrzal Area; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakan'son Anderson, Inc. recommended partial payment to S.J.Louis Construction in the amount of $57 ,109.25. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to S.J.Louis Construction for the extension of sewer and water to the Industrial Area in the amount of $57,109.25. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution f/87-___ approving payment oi the bills lot the month of September, 1987. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy o% thzs resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counczlmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted zn favor thereo~: and the following voted agaznst the same: and the fo£1owing abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of September, 1987.
