Councilmember for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION ~87- RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAY FOR FOREST LAKE CONTRACTING, INC. (GRADING AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS FOR RUM RIVER PLAZA) WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on May 26, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City o~ Ramsey adopted Resolution #87-149 awarding the bid to Forest Lake Contracting for grading and site improvements for Rum River Plaza; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka o~ Hakanson Anderson, Inc. recommended ~lnal payment to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $Ill,945.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLYED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, A~OKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. for grading and site improvements for Rum River Plaza in the amount o~ $111,945.00. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this ~znal payment. 3) That the total amount o~ this partial payment is not included in Resolution ~87-___ approving payment o~ the bills for the month of September, 1987. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted zn favor thereo~: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of September, 1987.
