RABIES VACCINATION NOTICE. <br /> <br />Prior to release of an animal from the shelter,, the <br />animal owner shall display proof of current valid rabies <br />vaccination for the animal. In the event an animal <br />owner is unable to display proof of rabies vaccination, <br />the animal may still be released, however, the HUMANE <br />SOCIETY shall give the animal owner a notice to present <br />rabies vaccination proof to the appropriate City of <br />Ramsey employee at the Ramsey City Hall within 48 hours <br />of the time of claiming the animal. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORT AND REMITTANCE. <br /> <br />The HUMANE SOCIETY shall each month transmit a report to <br />the CITY showing the disposition of all animals <br />impounded. Included with this report shall be a <br />remittance of all fees paid by animal owners as required <br />by CITY ordinance. The HUMANE SOCIETY will retain all <br />animal boarding charges. <br /> <br />VETERINARY CARE. <br /> <br />The HUMANE SOCIETY will provide veterinary care and <br />medical attention for impounded animals, at no cost to <br />the CITY. In addition, HUMANE SOCIETY will provide <br />quarantine or brain tissue analysis for animals that <br />have bitten a human being at no additional cost to the <br />CITY. <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT SHELTER ACCESS. <br /> <br />The HUMANE SOCIETY shall provide 24 hour access to the <br />shelter by the CITY'S Police Department for the purpose <br />of after hour animal receiving. <br /> <br /> <br />
