Counc ilmember for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION ~87- RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR FOREST LAKE CONTRACTING, INC. (PROJECT ~87-20 - 167TH AVENUE N.S. BETWEEN COUNTY ROAD 5 AND JASPAR STP~EET N.W.) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on June 23, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution 987-218 awarding the bid to Forest Lake Contracting, INc. for the improvement of !67th Avenue N.W. between County Road ~5 and Jaspar Street N.W. WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc. recommended partial payment to Forest Lake Contracting in the amount of $50,675.07. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MI~[NESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Forest Lake Contracting for the improvement of 16?th Avenue N.W. between County Road ~5 and Jaspar Street N.W. in the amount of $50,675.07. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #87-___ approving payment of the bills for the month of October, 1987. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
