Counc ilmember for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION ~87- RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR S.J.LOUIS CONSTRUCTION (PRi. JECT 987-19 EXTENSION OF SEWER AND WATER TO INDUSTRIAL AREA) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on April 14, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution ~87-136 awarding the bid to S.J.Louis Construction for the extension of sewer and water to the Industrial Area; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc. recommended partial payment to S.J.Louis Construction in the mount of $368,838.45. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT I. ESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to S.J.Louis Construction for the extension of sewer and water to the Industrial Area in the amount of $368,838.45. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution ~87-___ approving payment of the bills for the month of October, 1987. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be ~.rovided a signed copy of this resolution. · me motion for the adoot~cn o~ the fo~eg¢~= r~sc!uticn was du!v seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vo~ed in favor ~ - = ~e~eo~: and the following voned against the same: and tLe following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was dec~ared~ duly passed and adopt*~ xv~ tie Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of October, 1987.
