At the October 27, 1987 Council meeting I presented
four options for the alignment of sewer and water. One of those options was to
utilize the Highway #10 right-of-way.

Enclosed is a letter addressed to City Administrator Hartley with an estimated
cost for revising the plans and obtaining new permits to relocate the sewer and
water to the Highway gl0 right-of-way.

Recommendation:

I would recommend that the City proceed with plans to utilize the Highway gl0
right-of-way. This alternative will provide service to Riverside West and the
Schwartzman property as originally planned.

Council Action:

Motion to:
Authorize the City Engineer to prepare revised plans for sewer and water
south of Highway #10 using highway right-of-way to obtain the required
permits and prepare legals for any temporary easements required.

Review Checklist:

Administrator X
Attorney ~
Engineer X
Community Development Director

Chief of Police
Finance Officer
Public Works Superintendent
Other
