Some areas to be considered and <br />discussed are: <br /> <br />1) Should anonymous complaints be processed and how? <br />2) Should the complaining party be updated on the status of the complaint <br /> being processed? <br />3) Should standards be set for time limits of responding to complaints <br /> and processing complaints? <br />4) When complaints are registered about the actions of a City Staff <br /> member, who should process the complaint? <br /> <br />Ail of these items should be discussed as an effort to fully understand the <br />policies of the City Council relating to complaint processing. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council action will be to discuss. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator X <br />Attorney <br />Engineer __ <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />O~hcr <br /> <br /> <br />
